The 2011 ACS (1-year) file will be released next week. Below is some information on the table changes. For the transportation folks, one new table is Worker Population For Workplace Geography. Also, those of us who have had trouble calculating an unemployment rate from the very detailed table, B23001, will be very excited to see a new table, B23025. This table contains only the basic information needed to calculate the unemployment rate, without any gender or age detail to wade through.
Remember this file will have data for geographies (state, county, place, MCD) of 65,000+ population.
