Elaine is correct, the major impact of the shutdown for CTPP is the delay in an outstanding issue with the census bureau. More training will be announced as it is planned and programmed. Web training on the software will also be available.

CTPP Training Opportunity in the Northeast!
Census Transportation Planning Products Program (CTPP) Training is chiefly aimed at data users at the MPO and State. It is appropriate for consultants and students as well. This training is designed for anyone who is required to work on long range planning, congestion management, travel forecast, air quality analysis. Data users whose job requirements include being able to figure out who is going where and when will benefit from this training.
CTPP training is one full day, hands on, and computer lab based. Participants will engage in discussion, practice analytical skills through exercises, learn to navigate the NEW CTPP software for five-year CTPP, and leave with a better understanding of what transportation data are available and what are the avoidable pitfalls to using them.
CTPP will be doing hands on training in the first two weeks of October in the following locations:
Shippensburg, PA (Oct 1)
Piscataway, NJ (Oct 10)
If you are available and would like to register, please contact me off-list - pweinberger(a)aashto.org<mailto:pweinberger(a)aashto.org> and I will tell you how!

Sherrie— I only store MN and WI files on our server. You are looking for Illinois, and others?
For a while Cornell Univ was serving as repository for all the LODES/LED commuter data. http://download.vrdc.cornell.edu/onthemap/doc/ But their grant ended maybe 3 years ago – and main office of Census CES took on the data warehousing. Consequently, Cornell has not updated its collection in 3 years ??
I can forward your request – you are looking for Illinois – to the LEHD and CTPP listservs. Perhaps someone can hook you up.

Hi, Todd! You don't by chance know of an ftp to download the LEHD commuter data? We're in the process of putting together a presentation and of course, we need that data to finish up!
Thanks for the links you sent - I've already tapped into them, too!

This is a temporary stopgap and only includes the ACS summary data, but it's possible that you could get at least some of the information you need.
For those needing ACS summary or microdata files you can go to www.nhgis.org<http://www.nhgis.org> for summary data and usa.ipums.org for microdata.
Good luck!
