[CTPP] Park-Ride vs. Parking Shuttle Commutes

What are peoples' thoughts and experiences with the definition of auto-access transit trips measured by ACS. The ACS question asks "if this person usually used more than one method of transportation during the trip, mark (X) the box of the one most often." Are there notable experiences with people referring to a fringe parking plus remote shuttle commute as "transit" instead of auto?

[CTPP] CTPP update February 2017

Hi All, In case anyone doesn't know me, I'm Penelope Weinberger, the CTPP program manager at AASHTO. This is a program update and an invitation to let me know of your comments, concerns, compliments about the CTPP. Data: A tab request has been approved at the Census Bureau, the next CTPP custom tabulation will be based on the 2012 - 2016 ACS and available in early 2019 (or if we are smiled upon, late 2018). The tab has been pared down (fewer tables).
