If you will be creating your Census TAZs and/or TADs attached is the User
Guide. It was just released by the Census Bureau and very soon folks will
be notified directly by the Bureau that their TAZ materials are available.
I would recommend that you take a look at the User Guide before hand to
familiarize yourself with the software and most of all IF YOU HAVE TO GET
SPECIAL RIGHTS TO LOAD SOFTWARE OF YOUR COMPUTER YOU BEGIN NOW TO TAKE THE
NECESSARY STEPS TO OBTAIN ALL APPROVALS.

New subject: [CTPP] looking for data about "disabled populations" for EJ analysis in the ACS --- does anyone know the table?
I'm looking for disability data to use in our TIP EJ evaluation, I can't find
any disability data in the ACS. Has anyone else found this?

Yes, there is no disability data in the 2006 - 2008 ACS due to changes
in the collection question. There will not be disability data in any
multi-year estimate that crosses the question change.

I think Penelope is speaking about the CTPP 3-year data product. It is
true that the CB changed the disability question for 2009. Below is what
I found on the Product changes page relating to the the 1-year ACS

Disability
* There will be 5 new detailed tables, only published in the 2009
ACS1-year data products.
* The disability question was modified in 2008, representing a
conceptual and empirical break from earlier years of the ACS. The Census
Bureau does not recommend any comparisons to disability data from the
2007 ACS and earlier.
The new tables include
1. Work Experience by Disability Status and Type (1 tables)
2. Age by Ratio of Income to Poverty Level in the Past 12 Months by
Disability Status and Type (2 tables)
3. Age by Disability Status by Health Insurance Coverage Status (3 tables)

They are not available in the 5 year file because there were changes in questions and
definitions over the years. You will have to use the 1 year file for the most recent
definition
