The Census Bureau just released the five-year American Community Survey (ACS) data, for
the 2018-2022 period. Data is available via
data.census.gov
<http://data.census.gov/>, the API, and FTP.
I just tested the R package “tidycensus” with the new five-year data, and it’s working
without a hitch.
The Census Bureau’s press kit has some great analyses of changes in poverty, 2013-2017 vs
2018-2022; and language spoken at home.
