According to the Census2010 release schedule at
http://www.census.gov/population/www/cen2010/glance/index.html, the Urban/Rural Update to
Summary File 1 will be released in October 2012. The Geography Update also gives this
date for the UA/Urban Cluster Reference Maps.

Great Question! Last we heard and now it has been months ago, was that
the list of UAs would be out in "Early 2012".
At the same time we heard that the UA shape files would be released in
the Spring of 2012.
Hopefully, the Census Geography folks are seeing this and might be give
more specifics.
